Physical infrastructure

The physical layer behind the platform.

BangoPure's circular-economy services depend on a physical infrastructure designed from the ground up — collection, screening, sorting, processing and trade-grade documentation. Currently under development with pilot cities, DFIs and industrial partners.

Physical Infrastructure

Smart Collection Infrastructure.

The platform is designed to sit on top of four physical pillars. Each is being built in pilot phase with named city, DFI or industrial partners.

Smart bins & IoT collection points

Sensor-equipped collection points with real-time fill levels, RFID material tagging and a Waste Champions network for last-mile coordination.

Electric collection fleet

Electric and low-emission vehicles designed for urban and peri-urban collection routes across pilot cities in Africa, the EU and the UK.

Material recovery facilities (MRFs)

Regional MRF hubs designed for screening, grading and pre-processing across plastics, organics, metals, textiles, paper and critical raw materials.

Cross-continental logistics network

Designed to move certified secondary materials from African collection points to EU and UK buyers with full customs documentation and chain-of-custody by default.

Four modules

Smart Collection · Smart Bins · Waste Champions · MRF Hubs.

The four pillars are being designed as one operating system, not four independent contracts. Every batch is designed to carry a unique global batch ID at collection and remain traceable through MRF processing and cross-continental logistics.

Industrial smart bin

For factories and high-volume commercial sites — designed with ultrasonic fill-level sensing, AI material identification at deposit, weight logging and 4G/LoRaWAN connectivity feeding straight into the CSRD waste chapter.

Community station

Solar-powered, multi-stream community collection points designed for residential streets and public spaces. QR-driven deposit-and-earn rewards designed to encourage correct sorting; real-time material flow dashboards for city governments.

Agricultural collector (Africa)

Designed for farms and food processors — moisture and temperature sensing for biogas-yield estimation, batch tagging at source (cassava peel, cocoa husks, palm shells), farmer-app deposit records that trigger payment.

Africa electric micro-fleet

Electric tricycles and cargo bikes designed for African urban density, with IoT weight and GPS logging, mobile-first booking for community and industrial generators, and the Waste Champions programme as the primary ground force.

EU + UK industrial fleet

HGV and container fleet designed with IoT sensors, driver digital apps for material classification and weight capture, and shared routing AI with African operations — same algorithm, two operating environments.

MRF & processing hubs

Regional Material Recovery Facilities designed for multi-stream sorting and quality testing, biogas and organic processing, e-waste / CRM extraction certified for EU CRMA, and chemical recycling units designed for plastics to virgin-quality pellets.

Cross-continental logistics

Designed to coordinate African MRF output with EU and UK processing hubs — customs documentation, chain-of-custody and carbon accounting all generated from the same operational data feed.

Waste Champions programme

A formal employment programme designed to recruit from informal waste-picker communities — contracts, safety equipment, digital tools, embedded ReMaterial Academy CCA pathway and digital pay that designed to build credit history.

Carbon framework

ACMI-aligned carbon credit framework

African operations are being designed against the African Carbon Markets Initiative (ACMI) framework, with project data shaped for high-integrity verification standards.

ACMI-aligned origination

Waste-to-energy, methane-avoidance and circular-economy projects are being designed against the ACMI Roadmap so credits originate inside a credible African framework, not an opaque pipeline.

Verra VCS & Gold Standard verification

Project data is being designed for verification under Verra VCS and Gold Standard methodologies — the high-integrity registries EU and UK buyers will accept post-VCMI scrutiny.

Article 6 Paris Agreement readiness

Designed for Article 6 bilateral arrangements between African governments and EU/UK sovereign or corporate buyers — correspondingly adjusted, registry-tracked, no double-counting.

Audit trail to the operational data

Every credit is designed to trace back to a sensor-logged collection event, MRF processing record and chain-of-custody hash — auditors can re-verify the underlying physical activity, not just a project document.
