It combines three core capabilities: material recognition — a ResNet-50 neural network trained on 500,000+ labelled images, classifying composition across 200 categories in under 80 milliseconds; carbon-footprint estimation — an XGBoost model on the Ecoinvent 3.8 lifecycle database achieving R² accuracy of 0.94; and food and organic-content recognition at 97.1% accuracy.
What makes it unprecedented is the integration of all three into a single workflow that produces a complete Digital Product Passport in seconds. An artisan uploads product photographs and declares materials; the AI verifies every claim, calculates the carbon footprint, and the result is anchored on-chain — marketplace-ready with credentials a procurement team can audit instantly.
